Today, many individuals no longer find the need to wear a watch. This is largely due to the fact there are numerous technological devices that give individuals not only the time but other updates as well, such as the weather and news. While these devices are great, there are many times these cannot be used; for instance, in a class or business meeting. This, of course, makes it extremely hard to stay in the know at all times.
Fortunately, that is about to change due to Motorola 's Moto 360, which will be available June 2014.
Digital Trends explains all the aspects Moto 360 will have, one of which is Google Now. With Google Now, the watch will know an individual's current location and final destination. This also means that the watch will give directions "without [an individual] asking" (Camp, 2014). In addition, the watch provides the user with notifications on calendar events, texts, and emails, and is voice enabled, so users can easily make requests to the watch. Other features include the "gesture support" and water resistance (Camp, 2014).

While this may be appealing to the general population, businesses can greatly benefit from getting their employees a Moto 360. With one of these watches, employees will be able to keep up with their meetings by getting reminders of the scheduled meeting and client's name. Moto 360 will also make it easier for employees to meet up with clients at different locations, due to Google Now. The best thing about Moto 360, however, is that it can be used
anywhere, anytime, unlike smartphones or tablets. This is due to the size of the watch, which makes it very discreet. Employees will, therefore, get important messages when they are in meetings simply by looking at the watch. When it comes to being on the know about what people are saying about the brand/company, employees can easily check this by asking the watch, using voice command. Updating social media sites will be an additional thing employees could do, which would enable them to answer customer's questions and concerns. Overall, the Moto 360 will greatly maximize employee's productivity by giving them an extra tool when they find themselves unable to use their go-to technological devices.
